Executive & Administrative Commission
To exercise general supervision over the affairs of AIA Wisconsin;
to assure that all administrative, financial and other matters assigned to officers
by the Bylaws and/or delegated to the Executive Committee by the Board of Directors
are carried out in an efficient and effective manner; to safeguard and maintain
office and other property; to regularly evaluate the job performance of the executive
director and other staff; and to serve as the Board of Directors of Wisconsin
Architect magazine.
To provide regular advice and counsel to magazine staff and to
develop recommendations for the Board of Directors to assist Wisconsin Architect
magazine in achieving its established purposes of featuring the work of member
architects in a creative format, providing practical informative articles of educational
interest, keeping members informed of current activities and programs, and presenting
a forum for material suppliers to advertise their products and services.

To promote the science and art of planning by advancing the standards
of architectural education, training and practice; to provide scholarships to
Wisconsin students pursuing degrees in architecture; to provide program grants
to student chapters at universities and technical colleges in Wisconsin; and to
support programs and activities that increase the public's awareness and appreciation
of architecture and architects. (est. 1953)
To represent
North Central Region on the national AIA Board of Directors and to communicate
with the leadership of components in the region. RFQ
